Green or red?

The design team @ ideas(outright) created some logos for this blog earlier today.

I have two options .. Green and Red.

Finaltag RedFinaltag Green

What do you think suits better to the blog template? I am totally confused.  Keeping the green as of now, but a part of my mind says the red might just fit better…?

  • Like the green a lot. Red means stop... green means go, right?

    Nice logo!
  • Go for the red. Red is a bold color, it says more than green does :)

P.S. I wondered if you guys have read these FREE reports yet. It talks about the DISASTER on the web 2.0 technology. You can download it at:

  • The "stop" and "go" is exactly what I first thought about and went with the green for now!, red seems pretty bold as shannon says and somehow matches well with the overall layout. heh, I am still confused. the poll is with 50-50 results!

P.S: getting rid of akismet right away, it seems to be blocking more and more actual comments from being posted for some reason.
  • Well, Human Color Psychology does tangibly project that 'Red' implies various superior aspects viz: Passion, strength, energy, fire, leadership, power, etc. as compared to 'Green' which highlights: youth, environment, wealth, vigor, generosity, grass, aggression, etc. [courtesy: Wikipedia]

Aside from the listed technicalities, the design of the letters and the shape of the logo looks simplistic and artistically sublime. An addition of glossy touch would surely go well with the background, topic and the ideology of blog.

On independent basis, Green seems vividly cool and sure deserves a certain amount of consideration but when rated along side with Red, the latter takes the cake for sure. Red makes a point.
