Looks like google are indeed doing something very similar to what .Mac has been offering for a few years now: offering large amounts of adjustable storage space in the cloud for email and photos (and other things probably soon to come)

Great observation, Pranav! Hadn't even thought of that when I heard about the possible GMail expansion. Google and Apple are very close pals, so it would be interesting if there was something in the works for storage collaboration there.

I just hope it happens soon as my GMail account is reaching critical mass!
